Frequently Asked Questions

Can you Tell Me more about what we talk about?

No, but this handy dandy tour description can!

Where does the tour Start/end? How long is the walk

Typically we start at Crossing Bar (439 Dauphine St) and we usually at Cafe Lafitte’s in Exile. That being said New Orleans makes it difficult to operate with a consistent route especially during Carnival Season. I will always update you with plenty of time. Our tour route covers the OUTER Quarter which is a bit away from where most tours run. The entire route clocks a little under 1/.5 miles for the standard. The private tours can be walking heavy or walking light, depending on the group.

Does the tour Run in the Rain?

Yes!

Does the tour run during horrifying flash floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, freak snowstorms, rain of toads, mass poltergeist attack, or any of the other typical New Orleans Weather experiences?

No. I offer a full refund to anyone who needs it and offer easy, free reschedules to anyone who still wants it

Can I bring my teenager on the Tour?

The content of the tour is very explicit and designed for adults. That being said, mature teenagers with parents who know what they are signing up for. If you have children under the age of 16, I advise reaching out for a private tour, or a Queer History Happy Hour. I know plenty of history that is not explicit about general queer history that can be made family friendly upon request.

Can you do a ghost tour for me?

No. I do however, offer tarot readings and other spooky events. My focus as a tour guide is history and I like to keep my spooky side separated away.

Is Drinking allowed on the Tour?

Of course! It is New Orleans. Bring your to-go drink and have a wonderful time. That being said, if anyone in your group becomes too intoxicated to walk and remain respectful to other guests, I reserve the right to ask you nicely to leave at any time during the tour

Do you have any book reccomendations?

Yes! I have full list of sources available here

Why don’t you write a book?

Working on it!

Have you ever considered doing a podcast?

Yes, in fact, I am going to be releasing audio tours within the next year

Aren’t you that girl from tiktok who-?

Yes!

Why don’t you offer the tour in drag Anymore?

Have you seen me out of drag? Would you cover this face with drag makeup? I don’t need it anymore. After transitioning, I found that I enjoy a life with far less attention on me in public and I prefer to allow people to see the #realme on my tours instead and to get a focus on my history rather than my mediocre makeup skills. But if you have a spare $200, I can make a lot of things happen for that.
